Average hourly load data for Southwest Power Pool (SPP) on April 8 is given in this document.

• a. Calculate the total energy supplied by SPP on this date.
• b. Calculate the peak load for SPP on this date.
• c. Why is the peak load significantly lower than in the class example (posted above)?

Breakdown

We'll take this $x_{3}={\frac {9}{3}}$ and plug it into $2x_{2}+x_{3}=5$ to find x₂:
